Rules & Regulations

  1. All entries must be made on the Official Registration Form(s) and be submitted personally at the designated registration centres or through the official website.
  2. There will be no race day registration for Salomon X-Trail Run 2012.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse entry.
  4. Participants below 21 years of age need to seek parental or guardian consent for participating in the event.
  5. All participants are responsible for their own safety during the event. All participants must also observe traffic regulations. The Organiser shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, resulting from injury, whether fatal or otherwise, of any participant or for damages to or loss of such person’s property.
  6. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and time of the event. The Organiser will make effort to inform participants prior to the date of the event. However, there will be no fee refund if the Event is cancelled. The Organiser shall not be liable for any other loss or any inconvenience caused.
  7. The Organiser reserves the right to amend any rules and regulations as it deems fit, without prior notice. The Organiser shall take into consideration of all the affected participants. Any amendments to the rules and regulations will be updated on official website at www.salomonx-trailrun.com
  8. Failure to observe the Rules and Regulations shall result in disqualification and no refund will be given.
  9. The Organiser’s decision shall be final.
  10. Race Pack with official number tags will be issued 2 weeks prior to the actual event day. Participants without number tags will not be allowed to participate in this event. Participants are responsible to check if the number tags received are according to the category they have registered. To facilitate the smooth running of the race, in the event where participants who have been mistakenly issued number tags of the wrong category, participants need to bring it to the attention of the registration official prior to the commencement of the race on the race day. Number tags are non-transferable. Participants found doing so will be disqualified.
  11. Once the registration form has been duly processed, there shall be no fee refund for those participants who eventually do not take part for whatever reason.
  12. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim or damage suffered or incurred as a result of the use of Sponsor’s goods and services.
  13. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs, motion picture, recordings, or any other record of this race and of participants for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
  14. Participants must not fold the number tags and must have their number tags properly secured using 4 safety pins and prominently displayed at the front of their T-shirts.
  15. Participants must be present to claim their prizes at time of draw, failing which the prize will be forfeited.
  16. Prize winners are required to wait at the designated winners’ holding area to collect their prizes. The top 10 winners for Men’s and Women’s Open and Men’s and Women’s Veteran will be called upon during the prize-giving ceremony.
  17. In the event of inclement weather, the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the event.
  18. Should the inclement weather persist after delay, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the event without any refund of registration fees already paid.
  19. Participants are advised not to bring any valuables to the race. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal belongings deposited at the bag deposit service.
  20. The Organiser will issue the t-shirt size as indicated in the registration form subject to availability. In the event when the chosen size is unavailable, the Organiser reserves the right to replace it to the next best available size.
  21. The Organiser may cancel any race category and may not have sufficient time to notify the affected participants. Therefore, the Organiser shall have the right to do so without prior notice and would seek the understanding of the affected participants.
